The Easter Sunday is also called the Resurrection Sunday. It is still the prolongation of the celebration of the ultimate Victory of Christ over death with special emphasis of Christ appearing to some of his disciples to make them withnesses of his Resurrection all over the world.
The Glory of Christ's Resurrection is also for us. In Christ, humankind has conquered sin and death. Therefore whenever we face hardship and persecution, let's take courage, for Christ has conquered the World for our sake.
