Palm Sunday begins the most sacred week of the Christian year. It is so called, because on that Sunday, palm branches are blessed and carried during the procession into the Church to commemorate the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem and to celebrate his Passion that led to his Death and Resurrection. It reminds us that we too can win crown and glory through our sufferings and pains and encourages us to always see and use our time of adversity as occasions of growth and maturity.
