AU Celebrates Christmas with Joyful Mass

As we gathered in the Chapel of Our Lady of Annunciation at Assumption University's Hua Mak Campus for the Christmas Mass, my heart was filled with a profound sense of joy and hope. Joined by Reverend Father Joseph Phuong, Reverends Father Simeon Amuluche, Father Justin, and the esteemed Reverend Brother Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, President of the University, we experienced a truly blessed celebration.
This festive season, we are reminded of the eternal message of Christmas, as captured in the Gospel of Luke 2:10-11: “Do not be afraid; for behold, I proclaim to you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For today in the city of David a Savior has been born for you.” These words, spoken by the angel to the Shepherd, resonate deeply with us today, urging us to be fearless in our pursuit of good news and to embrace the role of being agents of joy and hope.
During the Mass, we reflected on our collective responsibility to be messengers of good news, striving daily for justice, peace, and love. It is a call to action for each one of us, encouraging us to embody the spirit of Christmas in our everyday lives.
As we concluded the celebration, Reverend Dr. Bancha Saenghiran extended his heartfelt gratitude to all celebrants and attendees, wishing everyone a Merry Christmas. It was a moment that captured the essence of our community - united in faith and purpose.
