Thanks! The Dominican Fathers of Vietnam

On 16th May 2023, the President of Assumption University of Thailand (AU), Very Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran and the Brothers Community in Hua Mak, received the visit of Very Rev. Fr. Thomas Aquinas NGUYEN TRUONG TAM, the Provincial Superior of the Dominican Fathers of Vietnam. He was accompanied by Fr. Joseph NGUYEN, his counsellor in charge of their Congregation's scholars, and Father Paul Quy, the Superior of the Dominican Fathers in mission in Thailand and Laos. Two Dominican Fathers are actually studying for Master’s degree in Education at Assumption University and two others have already completed their Master’s and Ph.D.

In addition to their studies, the three Dominican Fathers living in Hua Mak, also help in celebrating Holy Masses in the Chapel of Annunciation at Assumption University on Sundays and weekdays. They minister to the faithful in the Rosa Mystica Parish, our Lady of Fatima Parish, and to the Vietnamese Migrant communities in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket. They recently built a Church in Sam Phran district, Nakhon Pathom province where they minister to the Vietnamese Catholic Migrants.
